Angela Kinsey reacts to “Office” costar John Krasinski as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive: 'This is like your little brother getting Sexiest Man Alive!'
"I'm so happy for all the success he's having."
Angela Kinsey is "tickled" by The Office costar John Krasinski's latest crowning as PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly about her upcoming Hallmark holiday movie Confessions of a Christmas Letter, Kinsey reacted to the news and admitted that the title is a bit difficult to digest considering the fact that Krasinski feels very much like a sibling.

"I'm so tickled by it. I found out this morning," Kinsey says during a chat Wednesday morning. "I love John. He's such a good person and I'm so happy for all the success he's having. But I think of him like my little brother, so this is like your little brother getting Sexiest Man Alive! You're kind of like, 'What is happening?' But he's such a cutie."

A text message from Kinsey also might be forthcoming in the Office group thread. "We stay in touch and I can't wait to text the thread. I might say something like, 'What's up, Mr. Sexiest Man?'"
PEOPLE announced early Wednesday that Krasinski has succeeded 2023's Sexiest Man Alive, Patrick Dempsey, as this year's recipient. He told the magazine he experienced an "immediate blackout" upon learning the news.
"Zero thoughts,” said Krasinski. “Other than maybe I’m being punked. That’s not how I wake up, thinking, 'Is this the day that I’ll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?' And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
Kinsey and Krasinski co-starred as coworkers Angela Martin and Jim Halpert, respectively, on the beloved NBC workplace sitcom The Office, which ran for nine seasons between 2005 and 2013 and centered on employees at the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
Kinsey's upcoming Hallmark holiday film — her first in the lead role — will feature a mini Office reunion with former costar and good pal Brian Baumgartner. Premiering Nov. 17 on Hallmark, the festive feature stars Kinsey as a quirky matriarch who enters her town's holiday letter-writing contest.
