Amyra Rosli wants to bring something new to "Nona"

27 Jul – Replacing Mira Filzah as the new host of TV3's women weekly programme, "Nona", Amyra Rosli said that it was a dream come true for her.

The actress, who spoke to the media at the press conference announcing her new role, stated that she was surprised upon being offered to host the long-running show, seeing that "Nona" is such a big and popular programme.

"I have always wanted to be a host, but I lacked the know-how to do it. But now that I've been offered, I tried to remove all doubts and instead challenge myself to do it," she said.

Amyra also stated that she would try to host the show in her own way and bring something new to the viewers.

"I know that Nona's hosts are known to be elegant and poised. But it will be a bit different this time. I will maintain the elegance but with a little bit of cheekiness into it so that it will feel closer to the audience," she said.

Her first episode will be aired on 8 August.

Mira Filzah has previously hosted the show for three years following Fara Fauzana, Vanidah Imran, Maya Karin, and other TV3 hosts like Puan Sri Normala Samsudin, Ezzah Aziz Fawzy, and Azizah Ariffin.
