Amir Masdi on Shila Amzah: We're just badminton buddies!
26 Oct – Amir Masdi has recently laughed off rumours that he is now dating fellow singer, Shila Amzah.
The singer, who's been seen with Shila several times since they both competed in the singing competition, "Masked Singer" earlier this year, explained that the two of them are "badminton buddies".
"We are just good friends. We became close after competing in Masked Singer and performing at an Eid event afterwards. People may think we're more since we often go out and play badminton together, but it's not just the two of us. We have other celebrity friends joining us as well," he said.
Amir also stressed that the two of them rarely contact each other except for work-related affairs.
"I don't know how the rumour started. This is the first time that I heard it. I am friends with everybody, but for now, I am still single," he said.
The singer also added that he would rather focus on his career for the time being, and has no interest to be in a relationship at the moment.
