A man facing child sex abuse charges was arrested by Florida authorities a week after his case was featured on America's Most Wanted, following a social media campaign by his daughters that garnered national attention, according to reports.

Davie Albarran, 52, was arrested in Lakeland, Fla., on Sunday night by Polk County Sheriff’s Office; Albarran had been wanted since November 2022 in connection three counts of sex battery, one count of lewd and lascivious molestation, and one count of child abuse, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office tells PEOPLE.

Albarran was featured on America's Most Wanted on Feb. 14, after a year-long campaign by his daughters to capture him.

His daughter, Ana Alabarran, started the social media campaign in 2022 when she announced she and her sisters would help look for him.

In a video in January 2023, Ana said when she learned he was allegedly on the run on accusations of child sex abuse, she staked out 46 hotels across the state. She then posted about him on social media, she said, and received messages from several others who alleged he had victimized them.

She reiterated this claim on America's Most Wanted last week.

On Monday, Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County said they were tipped off about Davie’s whereabouts when he came to Lakeland.

“We know where this dude is,” the tipster reportedly told authorities, Judd said.

Judd said when authorities approached Davie, he allegedly told officers his name was Jose.

Sheriff Marcos Lopez of Osceola County thanked the family “for being persistent and helping us get this guy off the streets.”

In follow-up posts on social media, Davie's daughters are seen celebrating the arrest.

Davie is currently being held at Polk County Jail, online records show.

It wasn't immediately clear if he has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
