American Pickers Is Looking for the Biggest and Best Antique Collections in the Carolinas
Attention North and South Carolina-based collectors!
History Channel's American Pickers is set to film throughout the Carolinas in March, and hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz want to hear about the best private antique collections the area has to offer for possible inclusion in the show.
The long-running documentary series offers an inside look at the world of antique "picking." It follows Wolfe and Fritz as they crisscross the country searching for America's most valuable relics and learning the stories behind them.
The show is looking for "interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them," casting associate Sarah Perkins explained in a release. "Please keep in mind, we are looking for different, unusual, and unique items too—something we've never seen before and with an interesting story!"
The men only pick through private collections, which means that stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, and businesses are off limits. Basically, anything open to the public is ineligible.
