Amelia Henderson ordered to pay RM200,000 for contract breach

10 Apr – Amelia Henderson is planning to file for an appeal after she was ordered to pay more than RM200,000 to A Aida Productions Sdn Bhd for breach of contract.

The actress, who was all smiles as she exited the Civil Sessions Court following the verdict, stated that she respected the court's decision, but will continue to fight the case.

"I went to court without holding any hope. I am proud of myself because I think I've done the right thing. But at the same time, it's the feeling that gave me the strength to appeal," she said.

Amelia stated that she considered herself a winner as her whole family was with her throughout the ordeal.

The actress, alongside actor Idris Khan, was sued by A Aida Productions for breaching the contract to star in "Sekali Lagi Cinta Kembali", with the studio saying that it had to bear losses due to the breach.

However, Idris settled the issue with the producer out of court while Amelia chose to go to trial.
