“In this new role, Tom will provide single-threaded leadership of all new development and ongoing series produced in the U.K.,” the memo reads. “The work and executives that were formerly assigned to our Pan-English team will fold into Tom’s new group.”

Last week, it was announced that TV vet Rola Bauer was stepping down from her role as head of English-language global original series produced outside the U.S.

Sanders’ note continues: “With the recent acquisition of Bray Film Studios and our growing slate of U.K.-based television productions, we will benefit from Tom’s success in managing some of our most impactful global tentpole series. He is well suited to help lead our commitment to further deepen our relationships with the UK creative community. In addition, Tom will maintain oversight of our on-going Genre series such as ‘The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power,’ ‘Fallout,’ ‘The Wheel of Time’ and ‘The Boys.'”

Meanwhile, head of U.K. and Northern Europe originals Tara Erer “will continue working on their existing slate of shows currently in post-production and development, including ‘Malice,’ ‘The Devils Hour’ and ‘The Rig’ S2, with all new scripted development going through Tom Lieber and team,” Sanders wrote. “Tara will also continue overseeing U.K. unscripted content, U.K.-based films and all other International Originals for Northern Europe (including Germany, the Nordics, the Netherlands, Turkey, and Poland), reporting to James Farrell.”
