There is one item of clothing in nearly everyone’s closet that is likely valued more than all the rest combined. It’s as reliable as a best friend, soft as silk, and as comforting as family. We’re talking about sweatpants.
But not just any pair of sweatpants. The perfect pair of sweatpants.
There are a few important qualifications for the perfect pair of sweatpants: They have to be lightweight enough to wear all day (and night) without getting overheated. It’s important enough that online reviews of sweats tend to be extremely honest and critical. It’s like every sweatpants reviewer out there morphed into Simon Cowell.

These incredible sweatpants from CYZ have a 4.4-star rating from over 4,800 reviewers, all raving about how comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy the pair is.

“Best pants ever,” one five-star reviewer said. “Fabric is so soft, medium weight... I am 5’5" and they are the perfect length as I like them slightly long. Didn't seem to shrink much at all. Going to buy again today.”
Made almost entirely from cotton, the straight-legged sweats come in 20 different colors — each with an elastic waistband.
“These pants are SO soft and comfortable I never want to take them off,” said another five-star reviewer. “I already purchased a second pair. Excellent material, not very heavy, but not super light. Very, very soft, elastic waist with an additional drawstring. No pockets, but I don't usually need pockets for bed (that's what the robe is for). Very highly recommended.”
Shoppers say these pants run a tad oversized, so go for a size smaller than your usual for a more tailored fit.
One five-star reviewer said: “These comfy pants are awesome. Definitely follow everyone’s advice about sizing down. I usually wear a Large but I got a medium since everyone said they run big and they fit perfect. They are very comfy and the perfect length (stops right at the bottom of my heel). For reference I am 150 lbs., a size 10 in pants, I have a bigger bottom and I’m 5’5”. The mediums fit perfectly. They aren’t tight at all. Even the waistband is nice and loose. Mine did not shrink when washed. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low for about 10 min. They did dry quickly. I love these and the price was awesome too!”
