Foot pain is a common occurrence for many, with a reported 75 per cent of Canadians likely to experience the issue in their lifetime. However, just because the pain is extremely common doesn’t mean that you need to endure it — especially since there are several affordable solutions.

One of the easiest ways to tackle foot pain is with the use of insoles, which can provide additional support and relief for tired feet. One of Amazon Canada’s top Movers and Shakers this week has been one pair of Dr. Scholl’s insoles, and ringing in at just $19, they’re an affordable addition to your footwear collection.

How do they work?

The Dr. Scholl's Sore Soles Pain Relief Orthotics are specifically designed to help relieve foot pain with a uniquely stimulating footbed. Each pair of insoles features massaging nodules throughout to add cushioning to every step, while shock-absorbing panels reduce the impact of walking and running with every stride.

Available for both men and women, the insoles fit sizes 8-13 M and 6-10 W and can be trimmed for a better fit that works inside most shoe styles.

“If you're someone who walks a lot or have to be on your feet all day this is the best thing to have. The embossed massage pops on the sole really work,” wrote one reviewer. “My shoe size is 10 US and this perfectly fits in without moving because of the grip under the sole. I've been using it for two weeks now and would highly recommend it.”

“I’m on my feet for 10 hours a day and standing in place quite often which can really be tough on your feet. I haven’t found any shoes that are comfortable enough and I still wanted to wear a bit of heel. These insoles made the world of a difference! They were so comfortable and I will definitely repurchase,” added another.

Some reviewers have noted that they had hoped for a thicker material, but for $19 you do get what you pay for with these insoles.

“Easy to fit and very comfortable. Wish they were a tiny bit thicker or softer but they're good. I feel like they're helping with my posture a little too,” said one reviewer.
