Amanda Holden has shared a moving tribute to her stillborn son on what would have been his 12th birthday.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge and her husband Chris Hughes lost their son Theo in February 2011.

Holden, 51, was seven months into the pregnancy when Theo died in the womb and she had to deliver him by C-section.

“We love you Theo,” she wrote, adding a picture of a lit candle to the moving picture.

“Never ever forgotten,” Holden added.

The TV and radio star – who is also mum to daughters Hollie, 11, and 17-year-old Alexa with hubby Hughes – previously talked about her heartache and the experience of losing Theo on the BBC's Dear NHS Superstars programme.

She opened up about difficult it was to deliver her son and shared that she was initially worried about holding him but that her midwife and close friend encouraged her to do so.

Holden did hold Theo after he was born and said: "That’s when I held him in my arms for the first time and realised I was still a mummy, even though he was fast asleep."

The TV star later went on to set up a fund in her son’s name via the UK pregnancy and baby loss charity Tommy’s.
