"I knew I was going to get roasted," Griffin said after Christie brought up her past support of the flip-flopping Republican.

Alyssa Farah Griffinface cream innovator and fashion influencer who once wore a shirt incorrectly — has added boxing champion to her growing list of professional achievements at The View's Hot Topics table.

In a lighter moment from what, at times, played a heated debate about voting in the upcoming presidential election, Griffin pretended to punch interview guest Chris Christie on Friday's show, after he called flip-flopping Republican Nikki Haley one of the cohost's friends.

"It's different people for different things," Christie said after panelist Joy Behar questioned Republican priorities. "But, about Alyssa's friend, Nikki Haley, we fought..." the former governor of New Jersey said at the table, which prompted Griffin — who previously expressed support for Haley as she ran against Donald Trump in the primaries — to throw her right arm out and pretend to punch him for the quip.

Christie continued, revealing that Griffin once "guaranteed me Nikki Haley would never support Donald Trump" before Haley endorsed Trump on stage at the Republican National Convention earlier this week — because, as Christie recalled Griffin telling him, Haley is "a principled person." Griffin replied: "Let me believe in something!"

The conversation shifted, with Christie accusing Haley of being "unified by her own tortured ambition" in any political race.

"She showed up on that stage for one reason and one reason only Tuesday night, is that she wants to run for president again in 2028, and she thinks by showing up on that stage, that that's going to help her," he said. "But, let me clue her in on something. She's got less of a chance in '28 than she had in '24, after that performance."

Griffin eventually conceded, telling Christie, "I will acknowledge, the governor was right on this. You were."

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Haley for comment.

Earlier this week, The View lambasted Haley's RNC speech, and contrasted her enthusiastic support for Trump by playing a montage of her past comments about the Republican presidential nominee, including calling him "unstable and unhinged," "toxic," "not qualified" for office, and noting that "there is no way that the American people are going to vote for a convicted criminal" in the election.

Though Griffin initially supported Haley in the election cycle, the former Trump White House communications associate eventually changed her tune, and criticized Haley as the race went on.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/PT on ABC.
