Aside from being one of the biggest trends in summer fashion, bike shorts are a welcomed alternative to leggings when working out in the summer.
Whether you're looking to capture the off-duty royal style made famous by Princess Diana, or looking to hit the pavement for a summer run, bike shorts can be surprisingly expensive. Luckily, there are affordable finds on Amazon, like the Along Fit Yoga Shorts, that help you get the bike short style and comfort without breaking the bank.

What are they?
The Along Fit yoga shorts are a squat-proof workout option made polyester and elastane blend. These stretchy, breathable shorts feature a high waist tummy control panel that won’t roll down while you move, as well as a triangle crotch gusset that helps prevent potentially embarrassing lumps and bumps.

The shorts come in two different lengths, a 5” and 11” inseam, each with two side pockets that are large enough to hold smart phones including an iPhone 11. Along Fit's workout shorts are offered in 22 different colours and available in sizes small to 2X.

'Great workout shorts'
Although these affordable shorts perform well while you workout, one customer review says the Along Fit shorts might not be the best choice for street style looks, compared to other popular athleisure brands.
"Great workout shorts," they noted, adding that while the material is "nice and comfy," they don't necessarily sculpt or "flatter" curves to make them a go-to outside of the gym.
'These shorts are awesome!'
"These shorts are awesome!" an Amazon shopper wrote of their "well made" yoga shorts. Aside for wearing them for workouts, the reviewer said they like to wear them under dresses in the summer.

While Along Fit's reviews are mostly positive, there are some shoppers who have said that the shorts sizing can be "odd" and recommend sizing up to avoid the "muffin top effect." Other shoppers have said that the material is thick, but not necessarily sweat-proof, but considering their price, they're an overall good choice for summer workouts.
Verdict
Along Fit products are a popular Amazon find thanks tot heir budget-friendly price tag and comfortable fit. While they might not deliver the same kind of sculpting support or compression as some of the more expensive brands, they do deliver light compression and enough shape retention to hold up to frequent washes.
