Aliff Aziz viral night club clip was only acting
11 Jan - Director Osman Ali recently expressed disappointment over netizens slandering his actor Aliff Aziz, who stars in his new drama, "Ku Akad Kau Dengan Bismillah".
The director, who addressed the recent viral clip of Aliff allegedly having fun and drinking in a night club, stated that the clip was a scene from the drama.
"For the past couple of days, we were filming in a night club with Alif, Jasmine Suraya, Chumie, Izwan Shahidan and many others. A lot of scenes were filmed there because in the original novel, Alif's character is a former playboy," he said.
Osman said that it was unfair for the actors to have to face such slander when they were only doing their jobs.
"As they are trying to bring to life their characters, some irresponsible people decided to make negative speculations that can affect their emotions," he said.
On the other hand, Osman admitted that there have been several incidents in which the production went on filming until the wee morning, but that it was unavoidable.
"It only happened three times throughout 25 days of shooting. But usually, we would give the cast and crew a one-day break whenever that occurred," he added.
