Alien Huang's remains finally laid to rest
29 Sep – More than a week following his death, Alien Huang's remains have finally been laid to rest.
As reported on Mingpao, a low-key funeral and cremation ceremony was held for the said singer at the Taipei Second Funeral Parlour's Crematorium, with his family, girlfriend Wu Han-chun, and several close friends including Rainie Yang and Tiffany Hsu attending to bid their farewell.
It is noted that Huang's father had just turned 60 a few days prior to the cremation, which made his appearance at the funeral a taboo. However, Huang's manager Dino stated that the elder Huang was not religious and therefore had no issue attending the ceremony.
As for Huang's final resting place, Dino said, "I am not in liberty to tell. I have to respect the family's decision."
Huang was found lifeless at home back on 16 September and was later revealed to have died from heart complications. He was 36.
