Alice Chan unfazed by third party rumour
19 Jul – TVB actress Alice Chan was all smiles when she made an appearance at the Hong Kong Girl Guides General Association event, despite recently being accused of being the third party in her boyfriend Dr Aldous Chan's previous marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media about the issue, stated that there is no need for her to clarify anything regarding the rumours since it is a fact that Chan was already divorced by the time they started dating.
"He has already given his response, and that represents mine as well," she said.
She also stated that she knew Chan has two daughters before they started dating, though she has not met them yet.
As to how others received the news of her new relationship, Alice said that a lot of friends congratulated her, making her feel like she just won an award.
"He is a caring person, especially to his patients. He is also a fan of mine and we could talk about a lot of things together," she said.
As to why she accompanied him to a medical seminar in Bali earlier, Alice laughed and said that they rarely had time to see each other due to their busy schedules.
"I didn't have to start on a new drama at the time, so I decided to keep him company," she said.
