Ali Lee discovers more challenges in filming "AI Lover"
29 Sep – Ali Lee admitted that filming her new drama is quite challenging in many ways, but that she hadn't known the extent of its difficulties until she actually started shooting.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media on the set of her new series, "AI Lover", stated, "You have to remind yourself that you are a robot and there is a lot of dialogues to remember. There were many proverbs and old words to use. You have to work with a lot of subtleties."
Ali also stated that she has to depend on her imagination to express herself as a robot as she couldn't rely much on gestures and expressions to do it.
Aside from the dialogues and movements, the actress stated that her eyes are also prone to dryness, which made wearing contact lenses for her role a bit challenging.
"In fact, the doctor told me I shouldn't wear them. But I have to wear them for a long time to do this drama. During the hourly breaks, I would take it off because it could affect my eyes," she added.
On the other hand, Ali revealed that work has been fine in the second half of the year, as she has also been getting a lot of advertising projects.
"I know that the market is not so good this year, but advertisers still looked for me. Some even renewed our collaborations. It may be that my last drama, "Death by Zero" has brought some good luck for me," she said.
