Ali Lee and Danny Chan want stable careers before getting married
26 Jun – Although it has been five years since they started dating, TVB actress Ali Lee recently admitted that she and boyfriend Danny Chan have a consensus that marriage can wait.
In an interview with Mingpao Weekly recently, the "Assassin" actress shared that she and her ViuTV host boyfriend would like to have more stable careers before they take the leap.
"My career has been going smoothly, but he is still working on it. We have agreed that we will prioritise our careers first, and I believe that the man needs to achieve that first," she said.
However, while Danny's career is still not at a stage that he would like, Ali believes that they are both heading towards the right direction.
"I rarely talk about marriage with him. I don't want to pressure him," she added.
The actress also admitted that a lot of people have been comparing the two of them in terms of looks, as Danny is not known for being good-looking.
"Of course, who doesn't love a handsome man? But when it comes to relationship, I am not that ambitious. I would rather be with someone that makes me feel stable and assured than make my life difficult by dating a wealthy handsome man," she said.
