Alfred Hui denies deliberate absence from TVB music event
3 Mar – Alfred Hui recently dismissed the notion that he has issues with TVB - a rumour triggered by his absence at the recent press conference announcing TVB's reunion with major record labels.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who is now signed with Warner Music, denied that he was boycotting the broadcaster and that the only reason why he was not at the event was because he was busy working - at his dentistry job, that is.
It is noted that Alfred, who has a degree in Dentistry, is a certified dentist and owns his own dental clinic in Hong Kong.
"I don't rule out the possibility of appearing on TVB again, no matter which platform, as long as it is well done. I will have no issue to show my support," he stressed.
Alfred added that despite the past issues, he looks forward to reuniting with his group of friends that he made while he was still with TVB.
In his previous interview last December, the singer stated that the reason he left TVB was due to the fact that he wanted more than to just sing theme songs for the company's television series.
