Alex Fong distributes face masks on 40th birthday
28 Feb – While most people celebrated their birthday with a big party, Alex Fong recently decided to spend his big day doing charity work instead.
The news was shared by the non-profit organisation A Drop of Life on social media, which posted several photos of Alex going around Sheung Shui, Lok Fu and Sha Tin to distribute face masks, disinfectant and rice to the poor and elderly who live alone.
Alex was accompanied not only by the Liksun's Wonderland volunteers on the said project, but also his own mother.
"Happy birthday, Alex Fong! Once again, we would like to thank Alex, his mother, and Liksun's Wonderland volunteers for their contributions to society!" the post added.
Alex also reposted the photos on his social media account and wrote, "Thank you mum and dad. I'm really old now! Don't worry. Your good health is my biggest birthday wish."
The actor turned 40 on 26 February.
