Akma Abdullah wants help for Iqram Dinzly

14 Jun – TV personality Akma Abdullah recently expressed concern over fellow celebrity and actor Iqram Dinzly, whose recent behaviour has sparked more backlash from the public.

The "Akademi Fantasia" alumna, who shared a clip from Islamic preacher PU Syed of a netizen trying to advise Iqram on the BIGO app as he pretends to be "god" and asking the other party to "worship" him, wrote, "When Iqram came out with a new image and did a lot of things, I thought he was just playing around. But the more I look, I realised that something is not right."

"I'm sure there are a lot of celebrities who are close to Iqram. Maybe you could help him get treatment as soon as possible," she added.

In the said video, Syed stated that people should stop giving Iqram the attention he wanted on social media.

"He is not in good health and in need of treatment, be it mental or spiritual. He has to get treatment. If you give him the time of the day, it will just make it worse," he said.

On the other hand, fellow singer Amylea Azizan also took to the comments to give her two cents, saying that she doesn't agree with the notion of ignoring Iqram, and that people should be nice to him and not make him feel alone.

"Don't ever think that people with such illness are not triggered by kindness and love. Don't ever ignore mental illness. Trust me," she said.

It is noted that Iqram has been on indefinite hiatus since 2018 following the death of his father and prior to his bankruptcy.

In related news, PU Syed also revealed that he has received a message from Iqram calling him a snake and threatening a lawsuit against him.

Below is the video of Iqram telling his social media follower to 'sembahlah aku' (worship me) twice that got many people worried and concern.
