A'ja Wilson Uses Two Shockingly Funny Words To Describe Teammate After Basketball Gold
Spirits were high after the U.S. women’s basketball team escaped with a one-point victory over France in the Olympic final on Sunday.
So A’ja Wilson, who scored 21 points to lead the Americans, got cheeky in an interview afterward.
Asked to briefly describe teammate Kahleah Copper, who scored 10 of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, Wilson replied, “That bitch.” Wilson added a gold-medal smirk for effect, drawing laughter from NBC’s Zora Stephenson.
Fans appreciated the irreverence.
