Food and aid packages were being prepared for flood victims in central Sindh province, Pakistan, after unprecedented monsoon rainfall triggered cataclysmic flooding in the country, UN officials said.

At least 1,136 people have died since the beginning of Pakistan’s monsoon season, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on August 29.

This footage by the Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan shows food parcels prepared in the provincial capital city of Karachi, and ready to be delivered to “interior” parts of Sindh, the organization said.
