and police brutality around the world

(SOUNDBITE) (Dari) AFGHAN ARTIST, MEHR AQA SULTANI, SAYING:

"George Floyd is a global figure now, and he was killed in the United States because of the blackness of his skin. We wanted to express our support for George Floyd with our art. There is also discrimination in Afghanistan, and with these paintings, we want to say no to discrimination because discrimination has no benefit for us. I think it's only important to be humane and Muslim."

The artists painted an Iranian flag next to Floyd
