Aerial View Shows How Close Fires Came to Chernobyl

Aerial footage from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine shows how close grass fires came to the abandoned Chernobyl nuclear plant on April 14.

Speaking after the fires were extinguished, Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenk said the fires were prevented from moving toward the city of Pripyat, the Chernobyl plant and a nuclear waste storage facility.
