Smoke billowed into the sky as a fire tore through parts of a hospital in Santiago, Chile, on January 30.
Chilean firefighters said that 37 units and more than a hundred firefighters attended the scene at the San Borja Arriarán hospital.
This aerial footage from the country’s national police service shows smoke rising from the hospital.
The Chilean health ministry said the blaze had not affected any part of the hospital housing patients, and said no patients of staff had been injured. The hospital was evacuated, and patients, including newborn babies and coronavirus patients, were transferred to different hospitals, officials said. Credit: Carabineros de Chile via Storyful
