Aedy Ashraf urges kids not to follow his example and pursue education

16 Nov - Aedy Ashraff is not trying to influence anybody to follow his example when he recently shared his deep secret - that he never finished high school.

The actor, who spoke about not taking his final exams and left school when he was 16 during the podcast with girlfriend Amelia Henderson, stated that being educated is very important in life, and that the decision he made at the time was so that he could take care of his family.

"If I was given a chance to study like others could with their financial situation, I would have continued my studies because I know how important it is to have education," he said.

Stressing that he is not an example that every kid should follow, Aedy stated that people should definitely pursue their studies.

"Even though I never finished school, I am the kind of person who enjoys reading and learning on my own," he added.

The actor is currently promoting his new movie "War on Terror: KL Anarki", which will be released in cinemas on 23 November. The movie co-stars Farali Khan, Adlin Aman Ramli, Qi Razali and Daiyan Trisha among others.
