Adele and Ed Sheeran Spotted in the Stands at UEFA Championships in Germany

The two singers are also big soccer fans!

Adele and Ed Sheeran are kicking it in Germany!

Adele, 36, and Sheeran, 33, were spotted in the stands at Wednesday's UEFA Championships, watching the Netherlands take on England at the Football Stadium Dortmund.

The singers each sat with their own friends for the sporting event.

Adele was seen in the crowd, gazing at the field while wearing a white T-shirt underneath a black jacket. Meanwhile, Sheeran could be seen smiling at times wearing a black and white baseball cap and a red shirt.

Both stars have been vocal about their love for soccer in the past.

In July 2021, Adele supported her home country after England's national soccer team lost to Italy in the Euro 2020 final. Sporting a Nike England soccer jersey in an Instagram photo, Adele captioned the pic, "You did us so proud! You brought our game home and brought us all together 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ♥️."

She took things up a notch by even rocking the home team’s logo on her nails with a special manicure tribute.

And it would only make sense that the singer loves soccer, as that same month she sparked rumors she was dating her now-boyfriend and sports agent Rich Paul when the two sat courtside at an NBA finals game together.

As for Sheeran, the United Kingdom native has also been seen rooting for his home team — the Ipswich Town Football Club.

In an Instagram carousel shared by the team in October 2023, the “Thinking Out Loud” singer not only attended a game, but got out of his seat to help serve food to fans at a concession stand in the stadium as well.

Before the day was over, he also hung out with the team in their locker room.

“Our no.17! 🍺🎸🧸 #itfc,” the organization captioned the fun set of photos.

That day called for celebration after the team won 3-0 and Sheeran had recently released of his seventh studio album Autumn Variations.

More recently, Sheeran announced that his Mathematics World Tour would officially be ending in 2025. He also teased a few European dates.

“2025 is the end of the Mathematics Tour,” Sheeran said in a July 5 Instagram video. “We’re going to be doing big shows in Europe and some more that we’re going to announce soon.”

His caption noted that he wants to visit “most of the other places we haven’t been to yet, but the first dates to go up will be the rest of Europe.”

Adele has shows in Munich, Germany throughout the month of August before returning to her Weekends with Adele residency in Las Vegas in the fall.
