Addison Rae Gives Dance Lessons to Mystery Star of Nerds' Super Bowl Commercial — Watch (Exclusive)

The pop star, actress and social media personality appears in the teaser for Nerds' upcoming Super Bowl commercial, PEOPLE can reveal exclusively. In it, Rae coaches a mystery student — and the ultimate star of the game-day commercial — on dance moves for a performance set to Irene Cara's 1983 hit "What a Feeling."

The Thanksgiving star plays a vinyl record of the classic pop song and shows off her dancing skills, tossing her hair and hitting the splits as she works hard to help the unseen student.

"This might work," says Rae, 24, expressing faith in her trainee as she snacks on a bag of Nerds Gummy Clusters at the end of the video.

"I can't say too much about who I'm coaching, but I think it's going to be a very exciting reveal," she tells PEOPLE. "Obviously, I had to work very hard to coach it, so we'll see how the star does on the final performance."

Working with the student wasn't easy. Throughout the teaser, Rae reminds the dancer-in-training to "smile" and describes their efforts as "cute" before she's satisfied by the end.

"It took some work," quips Rae. "Technique is very important to me."

Nerds' upcoming Super Bowl commercial marks the brand's first to air during the big game. It will spotlight Nerds Gummy Clusters, which feature the classic tart, crunchy candy wrapped around a sweet, chewy center.

"I've always been a huge fan of Nerds in general since I was a little girl. I remember going to the candy shop, and I would just love to get the little boxes, and they were just so cute," recalls Rae.

The "I Got It Bad" singer's love for the candy brand has only grown as she's become acquainted with Nerds Gummy Clusters.

"I'm a big fan of combining textures in something I eat, and this has the crunchy and the gummy, and I'm obsessed. I literally ate bags on set," she says. "Everyone was like, 'You should probably slow down because you're going to have to eat a lot of these.' And I'm like, 'I'm just making sure I'm prepared.'"

Viewers should stay tuned, as the mystery dancer's identity will be revealed when Nerds' Super Bowl commercial premieres in the coming weeks. The full spot will air during the big game on Feb. 11.

And they had probably dreams and hopes; the less and less, I fear today, unfortunately," said Andrea De Domenico, head of the UN humanitarian office in the Palestinian territories."People who in the last nine months have been moved around like pawns in a board game."- Evacuation order -The United Nations says up to 250,000 people were affected by Israel's order to evacuate 117 square kilometres (45 square miles) -- equivalent to one-third of Gaza's territory.The Israel-Hezbollah border clashes have killed at least 496 people in Lebanon, most of them fighters but also including 95 civilians, according to an AFP tally.Israeli authorities say at least 16 soldiers and 11 civilians have been killed on their side of the UN-patrolled border.The Gaza war at the heart of the violence has meanwhile raged on, with gun battles, air strikes and shelling rocking Gaza City&nbsp;for an eight straight day.Israeli troops "destroyed tunnel routes in the area and eliminated dozens of terrorists in close-quarters combat with tank fire, and in aerial strikes," the military said.- 'Maelstrom of human misery' -Israel has faced an international outcry over the soaring civilian death toll, punishing siege and mass destruction in Gaza.The UN humanitarian coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, this week called for an end to the "maelstrom of human misery".Netanyahu has insisted Israel will destroy Hamas and bring home the remaining hostages.Biden, under growing domestic pressure over Washington's support for Israel, in late May outlined a roadmap for a six-week truce and exchange of hostages for Palestinian prisoners.There has been little progress since, but Hamas said Wednesday it was communicating with officials in Qatar and Egypt as well as Turkey with an eye to ending the conflict.Hamas said its Qatar-based political chief Ismail Haniyeh had "made contact with the mediator brothers in Qatar and Egypt about the ideas that the movement is discussing with them with the aim of reaching an agreement".Netanyahu's office said Wednesday that "Israel is evaluating the (Hamas) remarks and will convey its reply to the mediators".The main stumbling block so far has been Hamas's demand for a permanent end to the fighting, which Netanyahu and his far-right coalition partners strongly reject.burs-dv/kir
