KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 — English actress Florence Pugh was hit in the face by an object thrown at comic convention CCXP (originally called the Comic Con Experience) in Sao Paulo, Brazil yesterday.

The object was believed to have been thrown by someone in the audience while the 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actress was on stage with fellow cast members of Dune: Part Two, actors Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler and Zendaya, reported Daily Mail.

A video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, by Timmytea, shows an unknown object suddenly striking Pugh, right smack in her right eye as she posed for photos with her co-stars.

The Oppenheimer star was then seen looking down to see what had struck her while her co-stars checked to see if she was fine.

The incident comes months after American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexhe needed stitches after she was hit by a phone a concertgoer launched at her.

Other entertainers who have on the receiving end while onstage include Ari Lennox, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Pink.
