ABS-CBN denies "Ang Probinsyano" is ending

10 Jul – ABS-CBN has recently denied reports that its long-running show, "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" will end soon.

As reported on Inquirer, the network released a statement regarding the reports which read, "There is no truth to the rumor that FPJ's Ang Probinsyano is scheduled to end soon. Coco Martin and the show's writers are enjoying the process of coming up with creative ideas to make the story more compelling, as well as collaborating with the cast and the production team.

"FPJAP continues to enjoy high viewership every night, and our Kapamilyas can expect new twists and characters as it goes into its third year."

Earlier, it was rumoured that the action drama will end after it celebrated its third anniversary in September, and will be replaced by Judy Ann Santos-starrer, "Starla".

On the other hand, another rumour stated that lead actor Coco Martin will replace the series with his new project, "Batang Quiapo".
