Supporters of former Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo dance and celebrate his return after ten years in exile. In 2011, the ex-president was arrested and sent to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of crimes against humanity after he refused to concede a 2010 election, which trigged a civil war. Gbagbo was acquitted by the court in 2019.
