Abby Lee Miller never gives up the opportunity to throw a little shade at her former Dance Mom stars. The controversial dance instructor and reality star once again called out her old students, this time, seemingly calling them ungrateful.
In response to a comment on Instagram, obtained by TikTokRoom, Abby Lee reportedly wrote, "Wow! Thank YOU for being thankful to others and grateful to producers and businesses - my former students can't seem to even remember the name of the show they were on!"
Abby has similarly shaded the early stars of Dance Moms, like Maddie and Kenzie Ziegler, Nia Sioux, and Brooke Hyland, in the past. Many of these girls have spoken out about their less-than-kind experience dancing for Abby, most recently using a TikTok meme to explain how hard it was.
It's unclear where Abby left this comment, but it may have been in her most recent Instagram post, where she shades the former dancers again in the caption. In the post, she is celebrating the anniversary of the final audition for season 8 of Dance Moms.
"Back in 2011 the kids just sat in a chair next to their moms - nobody actually had to try to out dance one another!" Abby said. She continued, comparing the season one cast with season eight, seemingly calling the original cast lazy. "Never in a million years would some of those OG’s have jumped on a plane and flown across the country with their kids to audition for a TV show... They wouldn’t even drive 5hrs to NYC when I set up auditions for them 🙄."
No one from the original cast has responded publicly.
