Aaron Rodgers Totally Passes On Greeting Trump At UFC Event

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers let Donald Trump walk on by as the former president made his way to his seat at UFC 302 on Saturday.

In a clip shared from the event, Trump walked out of a tunnel with UFC President Dana White and greeted fans as Kid Rock’s “American Bad Ass” blasted on arena speakers at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

Fans stood to shake hands with the presumptive GOP presidential nominee while Rodgers, who was reportedly considered to be independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, and Marcedes Lewis, Rodgers’ former teammate when he was with the Green Bay Packers, remained in their seats.

It’s unclear if Trump spotted Rodgers, although one clip circulating social media shows Trump making a face as he walked past the football player.

In another clip, Rodgers put his head down and placed his hands on the brim of his hat after Trump raised his fist in response to some of the New Jersey crowd seemingly chanting “fuck Joe Biden.”

The crowd roared with applause as the former president was introduced; fans reportedly chanted “we love Trump” at the UFC event as well.

Trump would later use his appearance at the fight to make his first TikTok video. He created an account on the social media platform — which he tried to ban while president — on Saturday.
