Aaron Rodgers doesn't regret shouting 'I own you' at Bears fans

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn't feel bad for trash talking Chicago Bears fans during Sunday's game. Rodgers shouted "I own you" to the Chicago fans after running in a touchdown to put the game away.

Rodgers didn't plan to utter those words when he scored, but he's not taking them back either. Rodgers told "The Pat McAfee Show" he feels he's had good success against the Bears over his career.

The key part of the conversation reads:

"When I got down on my knee, and I looked up, all I could see and hear was obscenities. And I don't know, it just spur of the moment hit my mind ... I didn't plan on telling the crowd that I own them. I think based on the statistical reference of my career, win percentage down there and against them, definitely our teams have done some good things."

Rodgers isn't taking those words back because he believes them, basically.

Does Aaron Rodgers own the Bears?

Is Rodgers correct in his assessment? Oh yes. Rodgers has a 21-5 record against the Bears in 26 regular season games. He's thrown for 6,208 yards and 57 touchdowns in those games, his highest marks against any team. Rodgers also owns a playoff win against the Bears, beating Chicago on the way to a Super Bowl win.

Rodgers may have tuned up the intensity Sunday knowing his rivalry with the Bears is coming to an end. If Rodgers is traded in the offseason, he wouldn't be in a situation where he plays Chicago twice a year.

He's probably sad about that considering the numbers he's put up against the team, but Bears fans will be more than happy to see Rodgers go.
