Aaron Kwok says "I'm Livin It" may be his best movie yet

19 Dec – Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok recently admitted that he had wanted to be a part of his new movie, "I'm Livin It" the moment he read the film synopsis earlier this year.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the movie's press conference held at the 3rd International Film Festival and Awards Macau (IFFAM), shared that he first came across the project while attending the Cannes Film Festival.

"When [manager] Siu Mei showed me the outline of the story, I was not aware of who the director and the producer were. But I told Siu Mei that I need to support this film," he said.

Aaron stated that he was blown away by the subject matter of the movie, as it tells the story of the homeless and the people living under poverty line.

"These are the people that the society has forgotten. Through this film, we will be able to get an understanding of their lives and hope to bring attention to them. It felt like it's my responsibility to do this," he said, adding that it was the best film he has shot in recent years.
