“90 Day”: Natalie Is Shocked When Josh Says He's Not 'Secure' and Shrugs Off a Big Relationship Step (Exclusive)

Natalie and her mom are relying on Josh for financial support in America — but he's never promised to give it

Natalie Mordovtseva is getting quite the shock on the latest episode of 90 Day: The Single Life.

PEOPLE's exclusive look at Monday’s episode shows the Ukrainian woman apartment hunting in Los Angeles — a huge change from what she was used to in Florida. Josh Weinstein walks his girlfriend through a one-bedroom apartment, where she’d live with her mom.

“I feel okay about this place, I realize this area is good. And my first thought, can I afford for the money I have,” she asks.

Last week, Natalie asked Josh — who is an L.A. native — to help her find a job. He agreed to connect her with some of his family members who may need administrative assistance. But Natalie still doesn’t have a set job, so paying $2,150 in rent doesn’t make her comfortable.

“Rent in L.A. is crazy expensive — just simple, modest place,” she tells cameras. “In Florida, you could rent like much cheaper, much better. Money I have, like, it’s not much.”

What comes next is the qualifications for the apartment, including a credit check.

“I don’t even have a credit,” Natalie tells the realtor. When Natalie asks if Josh would be her guarantor, he doesn’t answer confidently.

“I’d have to see about that,” he says.

When continuing the conversation with cameras, Natalie questions Josh’s willingness. “If we really find something for different price, something suitable, wouldn’t you help us?” she says.

He answers honestly: “I’m not sure. I just don’t think right now, where we’re at, that we’re ready to have joint anything. I need to feel secure in our relationship first.”

Natalie jumps in saying, “You need to feel secure? I’m in your country. Alone. With mom.”

Josh didn’t have a chance to finish his thought when Natalie exclaimed, “This is bulls—.”

For Josh and Natalie, turmoil isn’t new. The couple appeared on the previous season of The Single Life with similar drama. Natalie often asks for more of Josh’s time, and takes it to heart when he has to travel for work. Now living in the same city, it’s up to the couple to find their footing… and a balance of time (and money) spent together.
