7th-Grade Aspiring Meteorologist Documents Flooding in Alexandria's Old Town

A 12-year-old aspiring meteorologist showed his skills in the Old Town neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, on Sunday, September 11, documenting some of the flooding that hit the historic district.

Video posted on Twitter by Mason Sancho’s mom Mary Beth shows the floodwater along streets running parallel to Alexandria’s Waterfront Park.

The National Weather Service was warning of flooding along the Potomac at Alexandria from Saturday.
