KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 (Bernama) -- Tommy Hilfiger has announced the six finalists in the 2019 Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge, marking the next step to identify and champion innovative opportunities that support industry advancement.
According to PVH Corp in a statement, the global programme aims to support entrepreneurial start-up and scale-up businesses developing solutions that promote inclusive and positive change in fashion.
The finalists are Bangladesh-based scale-up, Apon Wellbeing; American scale-up, Stony Creek Colors; Dutch start-up, A Beautiful Mess; the United States-based start-up company, Lab 141; Indian scale-up pajama company, Sudara; and, France-based scale-up company, Constant & Zoe.
On Feb 13, all the finalists will visit Tommy Hilfiger’s Campus of the Future in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to pitch their business concepts to a jury of internal and external business and sustainability leaders at the global Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge Final Event.
The jury will award €150,000 between two winners to fund the advancement of their business proposals. (€1 = RM4.52)
The winners will also receive a year-long mentorship with Tommy Hilfiger’s and INSEAD’s global experts, as well as a place in the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Program.
An additional €10,000 will be awarded to the finalist team which wins the ‘Audience Favorite Vote’.
