Romantic comedy-drama The Pursuit Of Love has big shoes to fill as it is taking over Line Of Duty’s slot now that the police drama has wrapped.

The series, adapted from the 1945 novel by Nancy Mitford, comes with plenty of buzz – not least because it was what Lily James and Dominic West had been filming in the months before paparazzi photos of them looking very close emerged.

The three-part programme is set in Europe between the two World Wars and follows James’ character Linda Radlett and her romantic adventures.

Cruising with Jane McDonald – 9pm Channel 5

Fans were thrilled when it was confirmed earlier this month that McDonald would be cruising the open waters once again.

The new series of the popular show sees the presenter embarking on plenty more voyages, starting with a trip to the Caribbean on board a luxury liner.
