There’s something so sweet and simple to me about Christmas stockings. It’s a chance for me to put aside my kids’ well-curated wishlists and choose little things that I know will brighten their day—warm, snuggly, winter-ready goodies and, of course, lots of treats.

So it should come as no surprise that one of my favorite stores for stocking stuffers is none other than Trader Joe’s, aka land of 1,000 treats. Here, I’m sharing some of my favorite TJ’s stocking stuffers to give AND receive. No matter who you’re buying for, these ideas are sure to cover every person on your list.

Trader Joe’s Stocking Stuffers for Kids of All Ages

From candy canes to big chocolate, kids' stockings just have more fun. Here are some of the TJ’s goodies that are always welcome in my kids’ stockings.

  • Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa Stirring Spoon with Mini Marshmallows ($0.99): If your kids are anything like mine, they are obsessed with hot chocolate. The adorable wooden spoon is coated in milk chocolate and caramel that melts perfectly in a mug of hot milk, with the mini marshmallows floating to the top.

  • Moisturizing Lip Balm Set ($5.99): My two kiddos love the sweet and fruity flavors like mango, strawberry and guava, and island coconut that come in this cute, gift-friendly set.

  • Handmade Candy Cane ($1.49): It’s not Christmas without candy canes, and these big beauties are just the ticket for filling kiddos’ stockings.

  • Crispy Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Peanuts ($2.69): They might look like little peanuts, but they’re much, much better. The tried-and-true combination of peanut butter and chocolate gets a crispy upgrade in these adorable little sweet treats — perfect for your little squirrels.

  • Pound Plus Milk Chocolate Bar with Caramel, Pretzel Bits & Sea Salt ($5.99): Large format candy is a Christmas stocking rite of passage, and Trader Joe’s Pound Plus Bars combine all the essential candy food groups—chocolate, caramel, and sea salt—in a big ol’ bar that your kids can share or, let’s be real, not share at all.

Trader Joe’s Stocking Stuffers for Cozy Homebodies

These are the goodies for folks like me (family, if you’re reading this, take note!) who prefer to spend the winter months snuggled up under a blanket, reading a book, sipping a mug of tea, and generally embracing the spirit of hygge.

  • Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa ($5.49): This hot chocolate is elevated by the addition of rich salted caramel. All you need to do is heat up some milk and stir in the mix for a cozy night in.

  • Almond Ginger Oatmeal Exfoliant Bar ($3.99): My skin is a mess all winter long, so I’m constantly on the hunt for something that can make it feel soft and pampered. Enter this ginger almond exfoliant bar. It smells great and has a luxurious lather that helps restore my weather-beaten skin.

  • Winter Wakeup Tea ($2.79): Did someone say sipping tea by the fire? This lovely black tea spiced with cinnamon, orange, and ginger comes in a charming cardboard box that instantly elevates it to gift status.

  • Amaryllis Wax Bulbs ($7.99): Sometimes I need a reminder that things are still growing, even in the darkest months of the winter, and TJ’s waxed amaryllis bulbs help me keep that in mind as their stunning blooms unfold. The best part is all they need is a sunny window to do their thing. Everything else is right inside the orb.

  • 100% Pure Jojoba Oil ($7.99): We use a lot of jojoba oil in the winter for keeping our skin from getting chapped and sore in the cold-then-hot and always-dry weather, and these little bottles are perfectly sized for slipping in a stocking (and then, later, in my purse) so everyone can stay well-moisturized.

Ideal for jet setters and adventurers, these stocking stuffers will keep your intrepid traveler hitting the trails in style and comfort.

  • Matcha Green Tea Powder ($7.49): For travelers who dream of Japan, powdered matcha tea packets deliver an adventure in a mug. Just add hot water and enjoy the subtly sweet and earthy tea and a moment of repose.

  • Lavender Hand Sanitizer Spray ($1.99): It is cold and flu season my friends, and I will do just about anything to keep my family healthy, including loading their stockings with yummy-smelling hand sanitizer spray. Now let’s hope they actually use it.

  • Dry Shampoo ($4.99): What would I do without dry shampoo? Probably troll around the neighborhood with stringy, greasy hair! Thankfully, these wee bottles of dry shampoo can be tucked away in my bag or center console, maximizing my good hair days.

  • Sweet & Salty Snack Mix ($4.49): There’s a bit of everything in this snack mix—chocolate-dipped potato chips, pretzels filled with peanut butter, salty Virginia peanuts, and chocolate-drizzled caramel corn—making it the ideal snack for anyone who wants to have it all.

Trader Joe’s Stocking Stuffers for Spice Freaks

Some like it hot. For them, we’ve got hot and salty, hot and sweet, and hot and spicy snacks to enjoy.

  • Stepping it Up Spicy Snack Bar Mix ($5.99): A seasonal TJ’s favorite in our house, this mix includes spiced almonds, crunchy corn nuggets, jalapeño pretzel bits, and, my favorite, spicy cheesy cornsticks. I may be guilty of eating all of the cheesy cornsticks out of every batch, which is why it’s important to give everyone their own can.

  • Cinna-Dragons Gummy Candy ($2.29): It’s not all savory! Spice lovers enjoy sweet heat too, and the cinnamon flavor in these gummy candles builds as it warms from the inside out.

  • Truffle Hot Sauce ($7.99): Add a bit of indulgence to your hot sauce routine with the addition of truffle. It’s an umami level-up for a wide range of foods.

  • Chile Spice Mangoes ($2.49): These sweet, spicy, and delightfully chewy dried mangoes are my idea of a crave-worthy car snack that will keep me wide awake for the whole ride home after the Christmas festivities.

Trader Joe’s Stocking Stuffer for Budding Gourmets

If you can get them to put down FoodTok for a few minutes, the aspirational gourmands in your life will appreciate having a few new goodies to play with in the kitchen.

  • Cranberry Orange & Onion Chili Crunch ($4.49): Chili crunch is all the rage right now, and Trader Joe’s makes a great version. This seasonal cranberry and orange variation might be even better, thanks to the tart and tangy cranberry and orange oil that’s swirled into it.

  • Portuguese Flor de Sal ($4.99): One important rule for cooking: Don’t skimp on the good salt. This pretty ceramic crock of Portuguese sea salt deserves permanent residence next to the stove, where it will help add a salty crunch to any dish.

  • Black Garlic ($2.99): One of my go-to secret ingredients as a recipe developer is black garlic. It lends a sweet umami flavor to marinades and sauces, and it’s sure to be your favorite foodie’s new back-pocket ingredient.

  • Olive Wood Spoon ($2.99): A chef is only as good as their tools, and these olive wood spoons are as sturdy and functional as they are gorgeous. And at a great price, too!

  • Mini Panettone Classico ($1.99): Some panettoni are meant for sharing, but not this one. This mini version of the classic Italian Christmas treat is just the right size for stocking stuffing and enjoying solo.
