Next week's Home and Away episodes see Angelo try a new tactic with the Ross murder investigation, while Tane makes a bold step to stay away from Mac.
Here's a full collection of 12 big moments coming up.
1. Angelo offers Dean a deal
Angelo is getting nowhere with the Ross Nixon murder investigation, so he decides to focus his efforts on Dean in the hope of a breakthrough. Cornering Dean in private, Angelo reveals that he's well aware of Colby's guilt and fully intends to prove it.
Angelo offers Dean a way out by promising leniency if he cooperates with the police investigation and betrays Colby. Colby is horrified when he realises that his best friend may be considering it – and Willow seems to be on Dean's side by defending his decision to look at the options.
2. Colby uses Angelo's past against him
Colby realises that he desperately needs to regain control of the situation, so he delves into Angelo's past in the hope of finding something he can use against his enemy. He's delighted when he finds an old newspaper article about how Angelo once messed up a case by pursuing the wrong man.
Colby uses this as leverage to make a formal complaint against Angelo, claiming that the detective has been harassing him and his family. Angelo is livid when he finds out what Colby has done, and their tensions almost spark a brawl on the beach.
3. Colby makes an admission over his affair
Bella continues her efforts to talk some sense into Colby, wanting him to end his affair with Taylor once and for all. She points out that Taylor is unlikely to reveal any more insider information about the Ross investigation.
Colby shocks Bella by revealing that he has now genuinely fallen for Taylor and wants them to stay together, regardless of what's going on with the Ross situation. Bella is worried to realise that real feelings are now in the mix.
4. Tori fears she's losing Christian
Tori is torn over her romantic chemistry with Christian, wondering whether she's ready for a new relationship. Leah encourages her not to be so pessimistic about the situation.
Just when Tori seems ready to talk things through with Christian, she's shocked to spot him enjoying a meal with Jasmine at Salt. Tori fears that Christian could be moving on already and starts to see him as a player.
5. Jasmine receives a warning from Tori
Tori sees Jasmine and Christian's friendly connection continue at work the next day. She's frosty towards Jasmine as a consequence and gives her a vague warning about not making poor choices.
Jasmine is baffled by Tori's warning, until Justin tips her off over Tori's feelings for Christian and how she felt about seeing them together at Salt the previous night.
Jas is quick to set the record straight with Tori by insisting that she's not interested in Christian – and to prove it, she tries to push the pair closer together.
6. Dean's offer pushes Amber away
Dean realises that Amber has financial struggles and offers to help, wanting to contribute to Jai's upbringing. Amber stubbornly refuses to accept any money from him, fearing that he has an ulterior motive.
Willow tries to make Amber see that Dean has genuine intentions, but convincing her to see this won't be an easy task.
7. Owen decides to leave Summer Bay
Owen is keen to go travelling again – and plans to start by taking a trip to Evan's grave. Roo is shocked by this as she wonders what it means for their relationship. Once Owen realises how Roo is feeling, he clarifies that he wants her to come with him.
Roo decides to join Owen on his next adventure, but as they head out of Summer Bay, it's a poignant moment for Ryder as it was only a few weeks ago that he saw Evan leave with Roo in much different circumstances.
8. Ari wants answers as he returns
Ari returns to Summer Bay following his trip away and wants answers from Mac over the future of their relationship. He's keen for some commitment, but Mac doesn't want to tell him what he wants to hear just for the sake of it.
Feeling like nothing has changed, Ari blames Tane for the troubled state of his relationship. Tane seems to be bearing the brunt of everyone's frustrations, as Mac is annoyed with him too.
9. Nikau gets dumped by Bella
Nikau becomes frustrated when Bella tries to draw him into her plans to split up Colby and Taylor. He doesn't want to get involved, so Bella hastily dumps him as she sees his attitude as a major betrayal.
Nikau turns to Ryder for support, but it's difficult as he can't reveal much about the reasons for their break-up without disclosing Colby's big secrets. Ari and Tane also want Nikau to open up, but he faces the same dilemma and keeps quiet.
10. Tane cuts ties with Mac
Mac finally makes progress with Ari by convincing him to focus on having fun with their relationship, rather than obsessing too much about commitment and what the future holds.
Just when it seems that Mac has sorted things out, she's surprised as Tane hands in his resignation at Salt and reveals that he wants to leave immediately. Tane sees this as his best chance of making a clean break, but what will Mac make of this?
11. Justin's symptoms return
Justin seems to be making a good recovery after his surgery, but he tells Ziggy that he won't be able to return to work for another five weeks. Ziggy agrees to hold the fort at the garage, but Justin worries that she won't be able to manage the workload.
Later, Justin is startled to feel a tingling sensation in his hand while making breakfast. It dawns on him that his health crisis may not be over.
12. Alf plans a trip of his own
In the wake of Roo's temporary departure, Alf also decides to take some time away from the Bay. When Martha invites him to join her in Marimbula, he's unsure what to do but Marilyn and Ryder encourage him to go.
Ryder and Marilyn vow to stick together in Alf's absence. Alf and Marilyn are both pleased to see how Ryder is improving after the tragic loss of Evan.
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5, with first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR.
