A "John Wick" attraction coming to Las Vegas later this year will offer fans of the action film franchise a glimpse into the assassin underworld.

About the attraction: Developed by Lionsgate and Las Vegas entertainment district AREA15, the 12,000-square-foot attraction will transport visitors to the Continental Hotel, a fixture in the billion-dollar franchise. According to a press release, guests will be able to participate in unique missions, interact with iconic characters and even explore a themed bar and retail shop.

Beyond just escape rooms: More than just a typical escape room, the "John Wick Experience" promises an immersive theater that blends storytelling with action, involving intricate sets, characters and a few surprises. Continental staff, assassins and crime bosses will be available to reportedly provide visitors with puzzle hints and secrets.

Full immersive experience: “John Wick” franchise director Chad Stahelski, who collaborated on the project, has creative oversight of the entire franchise across platforms.

"It's always gratifying to see people embrace your story and characters, whether on the big screen or with a fully immersive experience like this one," Stahelski said. "The teams at Lionsgate, AREA15 and Egan really dive into this world, and I'm excited that fans will experience it live in Vegas."

What’s next for the franchise: While an exact date is yet to be announced, the "John Wick Experience" is expected to open in 2024. Meanwhile, the “John Wick” film universe is set to expand with the film “Ballerina,” starring Ana de Armas and releasing on June 7.
