11-Foot Alligator Roars as It's Removed From Under Vehicle in Rotonda West
Homeowners in Rotonda West were visited by a fully grown roaring alligator on their driveway on Friday July 22, footage online shows.
“Have you ever heard an alligator ROAR?”, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office asked on Friday, sharing footage of the incident on Facebook.
Video online shows deputies attempting to trap the alligator, while it hissed, roared, and rolled around on the ground.
The Sheriff’s Office added that officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) “were called out to assist and unbelievably enough, this 11’ 2” gator took out the homeowner’s light pole."
