Japan Fujii: fiscal policy can't support falling demand

TOKYO, Nov 24 - Demand in Japan is weak and fiscal policy cannot be the principal means to support a revival of demand, Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii said on Tuesday.

Fujii, speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting, also said monetary policy is principally responsible for price trends.
