NO CDs issued by Indian banks on Monday

MUMBAI, Nov 23 - Indian banks did not issue any Certificates of Deposit on Monday, Thomson Reuters data showed.

The yield on the Reuters benchmark 3-month CD <0#INCDBMK=> was unchanged at Friday's 3.45 percent, and secondary volumes fell to 1.7 billion rupees from 4.75 billion rupees the previous session.

Indian banks had issued 5.25 billion rupees of CDs on Friday.

For the week to No. 20, total CD issuance amounted to 51.2 billion rupees compared with 37.75 billion rupees a week earlier, and secondary volumes were 25.45 billion rupees versus 21.55 billion rupees.
