Indonesia holds guaranteed rph deposit rate at 7 pct

JAKARTA, Nov 11 - Indonesia's state-owned deposit insurance corporation said on Wednesday it has kept its maximum guaranteed rupiah deposit rate unchanged at 7 percent.

The state agency also kept its guaranteed dollar deposit rate unchanged at 2.75 percent.

Indonesia's commercial banks closely follow the maximum deposit rates as they affect lending rates and profitability.
