Chalco, Tencent to join HK's blue-chip index

HONG KONG, May 9 - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd , China's top aluminium firm, and online services provider Tencent will join Hong Kong's blue-chip index, the index compiler said on Friday.

Hong Kong's dominant fixed-line operator, PCCW , and infrastructure investor CKI Holdings will be removed from the Hang Seng Index after a quarterly review, Hang Seng Indexes Co Ltd said in a statement on Friday.
