**KUMHO INVESTMENT BANK RISES ON NY BUILDING SALE HOPES**
Kumho Investment Bank <010050.KS> gained on hopes that talks are underway to sell one of the two buildings in New York that it purchased from American International Group Inc <AIG.N>, for a much higher price than the company bought it for in June.

Maeil Business Newspaper reported on Tuesday that Kumho Investment Bank, Kumho Group's financial business arm, had received requests to sell the smaller of the two buildings, located at 72 Wall Street in Manhattan, from several interest groups, including Forbes and New York University. The paper said the firm originally paid $33 million for the building.
"We haven't decided when to sell the building, but we are getting calls from several companies expressing interest in it," said Byeon Jeong-seok, spokesman for Kumho Investment Bank.
"The price for 72 Wall Street is now being discussed at somewhere around $50 million," he said.
Kumho Investment Bank shares advanced 4.98 percent to 1,055 won as of 0232 GMT.
