Pertubuhan Pasok Momogun Kadazandusun Bersatu

The existence of United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO) is to voice the rights and strives for the development of Kadazandusun Murut (KDM).

UPKO was formed in 1964 May, with the combination of two political parties Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Kadazan Bersatu (United Kadazan National Organisation - UNKO) and Pertubuhan Pasok Momogun Bersatu (United Pasok Momogun Organisation - PASOK MOMOGUN) with both the parties strives for the future of the KDM.

UNKO was formed by Huguan Siou (first KDM community), Dato Donald Stephans on the August 1961, followed by the idea of Tunku Abdul Rahman Putera, the first Prime Minister of the country to form Malaysia. This effort was called Malaysia Project. Pasok Momogun was formed by Orang Kaya Kaya (OKK) Datuk G.S. Sundang on the January 1962, after the advice of partners from suku kaum Tiong Hua in Sabah. It is also a reaction for the Malaysia Project.

Until Jun 2001, UPKO has 26 registered area and four sponsored area. It also has 1720 branches and 100,819 members.
