PIPOC 2009:INTERNATIONAL PALM OIL CONGRESS 2009

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) will host the International Palm Oil Congress (PIPOC) 2009 from 9 to 12 November 2009 to be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The biennial event this year will be focusing on palm oil as the powerhouse in the oils and fats market and advances in the industry, including the need to balance its growth in harmony with the environment for sustainable development. Themed "Balancing Ecologics with Economics", PIPOC 2009 will emphasise on the environment for the palm oil industry in tandem with the growing global concerns on environment conservation and sustainable production of the agricultural sector. The Congress will be officiated by the Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister, the Honourable Tan Sri Bernard G Dompok. Details: Date
